Healing Teams
What is a Healing Team
What is a Healing Team
Healing Teams bring together people who feel called to continue developing their spiritual awareness and connection with healing energy within a supportive community.
- Inspired by the Healing Team model developed by Laurie Nealon in Boston, USA
- Part of an ongoing collaboration between Laurie Nealon and Dr Alan Brown
- Designed to create a compassionate and supportive spiritual community
- Built on shared values of kindness, integrity, humility, and healing
The Purpose of a Healing Team
The Purpose of a Healing Team
Healing Teams exist to support individuals in deepening their connection to healing energy and their spiritual journey.
- Grow within a community of like-minded people
- Expand awareness of healing energy and spiritual connection
- Explore how healing energy can be expressed in your own unique way in the world
- Support one another through compassion, encouragement, and shared learning
Healing energy does not have to be expressed only through hands-on healing. For example:
- A jazz singer may bring healing through music
- A mortgage broker or business owner may help others create greater abundance and stability
- A parent may bring healing energy into their family and home

Teams meet regularly to support ongoing growth and connection.
Sessions typically include:
- Expanding awareness of healing energy
- Learning and exploring new healing techniques
- Practising healing with other team members
- Participating in group healing experiences
- Supporting one another’s spiritual development
- Sessions run for approximately 2.5 hours.
The team may also periodically offer group healing sessions for the public, allowing the wider community to experience the benefits of collective healing energy.
Sessions may be recorded where appropriate, and may contribute toward Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for practitioners where applicable.
