Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist [March 2024]
Stafford Chiropractic & Wellbeing Centre is a family-run business on Brisbane’s northside, and we are looking for a passionate Admin/Receptionist team member to assist in helping provide amazing client experiences.
This position is supporting our team of practitioners for 10-20 hours/week initially

Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist (Windsor & Stafford Clinics) [March 2022]
We are looking for a vibrant Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist (CA) to support our multi-disciplinary practitioners at our two busy office locations in Brisbane's northside offices at Windsor and Stafford.
THE IDEAL POSITION FOR...
We are looking for a team person who is confident, flexible, and actively living a natural health lifestyle.
This role is approx. 10-20 hours per week (job share) plus alternating Saturday mornings, sometimes more to cover staff holidays, increasing as the practice grows. Will suit someone who can work early morning and late evening shifts, and is not dependent on set minimum hours to begin.
Flexibility, able to work Saturday mornings and at short notice is essential.
Current students - PLEASE NOTE - Any applying students must have flexibility around their study commitments and indicate their availability when applying.
ABOUT THE ROLE...
Our CA's are often the first point of contact for our clients, and so excellent communication skills, presentation, and the ability to provide a welcoming environment are key.
A demonstrated interest in holistic health care is essential.
The CA role involves:
- providing a welcoming environment for our clients, in person and on the phone.
- multi-tasking in a busy, dynamic office environment.
- organising appointments for our clients to ensure they get the best from their care.
- supporting our practitioners with attention to detail throughout each shift.
- handling cash and EFTPOS payments
- general admin and problem-solving
- contributing ideas at meetings, and towards workshops and events
- updating procedures and fine-tuning work practices to supports clients and practitioners
- general cleaning and carrying out of COVID-19 hygiene practices
- other opportunities involved in the culture of the business
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE...
We are looking for someone who has the following attributes and experience:
- A genuine interest in natural health and pursuing a healthy lifestyle. Please do not apply if you are purely seeking a reception job. This is a very supportive role and we are looking for someone with a natural health background.
- Must be flexible to cover for other staff members at short notice: sick or on holidays etc, and be available for early morning starts (first appointments of the day are 7am).
- Must be available to work Saturday mornings.
- Confident phone manner, friendly, warm and welcoming personality
- Reliable, committed and a motivated self-starter
- Excellent listener and able to communicate the benefits of chiropractic care
- Customer-focused and confident with children of all ages
- Well organised and able to multi-task
- Good computer skills, internet and social media savvy.
- Knowledge of Front Desk software and social media would be a bonus.
REMUNERATION...
The hourly rate of pay after training is paid on a casual basis, and would be between $25-30.99/hr plus superannuation.
Chiropractic care is included as a benefit of this position. We also offer ongoing training and opportunities to attend inspiring seminars and workshops.

* IT IS FAST PACED, so you need to be able to cope well under pressure as there are times during the week when our clinic is very busy (in a good way of course).
* You will need to demonstrate what natural health routines you practice in your own life.
